Secret Water Fountain

Walking along Maryland Ave, I stumbled upon a secret fountain outside of an apartment complex. Now normally I probably wouldn't have noticed this impressive decoration, but today my senses were on the alert for all that is interesting. I got close and recorded, but for some reason I thought it was a great idea to start spinning with my microphones outstretched, one in each hand. I was strongly mistaken. Although it was indeed fun, it was probably not the greatest idea as now the fountain has a sort of panning effect that sounds way less cool than it did when I was recording it.

BZZZZZZZ

"Oh my god! Is that a bumble bee?!" I questioned myself. I drew nearer to investigate and it turned out my eyes were telling the truth. I tried chasing it with my microphones and managed to catch a couple of this bee's buzzes but his being on the other side of a fence and all made it difficult to get more than a couple brief buzzes.

Bumble Bee!

Above is a photograph of the very fence that attempted to block me from collecting buzzes.

Sweet Child of Mine

So get this, I was kicking this can half-full of soda (or half-empty depending on how you look at things) which was going well and all when along comes this car, right? But, this was no ordinary car. This car was blasting the song "Sweet Child of Mine" out of it's window. Now, I am not the biggest Guns N' Roses fan I am pretty sure, but this was a sound my ears enjoyed feasting on as the song kind of warped as it passed by. Checkity check it...

Angels?

So there I was, microphones locked and loaded. I was recording traffic along with my footsteps when from the heavens down came the sounds of singing angels raining down onto my ears. Equally possible, the sounds also could have been the singing of the choir inside the church I was passing by. Judge for yourself...

Angels?

El Crow

On this walk, I managed to briefly catch the soothing sounds of what appeared to be a crow. Though quickly interrupted by wind as I found many of my recordings were, some caws of the crow were captured nonetheless.

Drift 1

On my very own walk of sound, I went with the ol' "1st left, 3rd right, 1st right, repeat" walking pattern in which I would take the first left, followed by the third right, followed then by the first right, and then repeat. "Where did that take you, Zach?" you may be asking yourself. Well, let me show you on this handy google map of my walk.
